Bathurst Manor sits in the northwest corner of North York, bounded roughly by Bathurst Street to the west, Wilson Avenue to the south, Dufferin Street to the east, and Sheppard Avenue West to the north. That original character is now being disrupted by a wave of custom home construction. Aging owners are selling to developers, or children are inheriting the family home and deciding to rebuild rather than renovate. Many Bathurst Manor residents use Yorkdale as their primary retail destination, and families moving out of Bathurst Manor often end up buying condos near Wilson station or elsewhere along the Spadina line.
